Pašman is an island in northern Dalmatia, which covers 60 km2 and is located in the Zadar archipelago.
The highest pinnacle is Bokolj (274m).
Places on the island are: Tkon, Pašman, Mali Pašman, Mrljane, Neviđane, Banj, Dobropoljana, Barotul, Kraj i Ždrelac.
Pašman place is the administrative center of the Municipality of Pašman.
The entire island, as well as the Pašman place is abundant in sandy beaches.
There are two beaches in Pašman place:
Varoš (Jasenice) and Lučina which are paved and till Varoš from the centre of the place leads stone walkaway along the coast.
Sea in the place and the entire island is clean since in Pašman channel every 6 hours are alternating sea currents which is why it can be said that the Pašman channel is one of the cleanest parts of the Adriatic sea.
The beaches are suitable for all age groups. At both beaches in place are steps to improve access to the sea, and in the Lučina there is access for people with disabilities.
In the sea is sand, without stones and rocks.
On the beaches shade can be found in tamaris alley.
Just beside the Varoš beach there are tennis and volleyball courts and boćalište. The beach has a sandbox for children.
On Lučina beach shallow stretches to a few dozen meters from the shore to the delight of children and adults who can safely let their kids run around in the sea.
During the summer months, in Pašman there is a variety of events such as concerts, Pašman film evenings, football tournaments etc.
